# Introduction Hello World, I am writing this letter ("FoxDoc") to express my sincere gratitude to my community for their support. Also since our NFT project has been private since launch, this FoxDoc aims to help newcomers learn more about our community, history, and vision. If you're here for the first time, you should know that the mint for Private Foxes NFTs was kind of a stealth mint, and Private Foxes is one of few NFT projects that hasn't been shilled or pushed by influencers or any other NFT project besides using own social media channels, and that's something I will always be proud of. If you would like to read a short version of this, please check out our website , otherwise enjoy reading my boring letter. Now first, let's start by talking about the OG Foxes NFTs. {% hint style="info" %} FoxDoc is a living document and will be continually updated as new information is available. {% endhint %} # OG Foxes NFT To sum it up, let's just say that in the past 10 years I have built the best, most loyal community ever ("OGs"), who have been supporting me in every step to create this NFT project, and I will be always grateful for it. It all started when I decided to educate my community about NFTs last year (2021). I am glad I did. Soon after that, many people start joining the NFT world for the first time and making money either as artists, traders, or developers. I have highlighted many screenshots from the community on my Instagram account and some were posted on our Private Foxes Discord server, but more of that later. I also noticed that after my Solana podcasts, most of the people moved from Ethereum to Solana, so the whole interest of my community at that time was on how someone can build his own project on the Solana blockchain. I decided once again to take the initiative and create another video, and this time it was challenging. Firstly I am not a developer, second, the video had to be a Livestream in front of thousands of people so the younger audience will learn how to search for information and understand that anything can be done with hard work and dedication. I didn't know how much the Livestream will last or how much money it will cost, I just know I had to turn on my webcams and start streaming. Even though I was tired and needed sleep, seeing the whole community supporting me during the whole process was really a blessing. During the Livestream, the community was helping me with the attributes, picking the rarity percentage of each trait, the mint supply, and the mint price (0.8 SOL), and they even helped choose our brand name **Private Foxes**. I mentioned several times at the start and also during the Livestream, that this whole video is just for educational purposes and I asked everyone not to mint in case we deploy to Mainnet. But right after I finished the Livestream, I went to sleep, it was a long 14 hours of streaming, to wake up after a few hours that many NFTs got minted by some of the viewers as a thank-you gesture for the Livestream and also for what had been spent to deploy to Mainnet. That same day I made some Instagram stories to thank my community for the incredible support, and to announce that I have to make this project official for those who already minted. And because of those Instagram stories, some of my community went to mint more to show more support, so I had to pause the mint until I finish the whole plan. {% hint style="success" %} Private Foxes is the first NFT project created during a [14-hour Livestream](https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1BRKjnLOyjNKw) with the community. {% endhint %} That's how the **OG Foxes NFTs** were born and adopted by the first community supporters. The funny thing is just right after we paused the mint to decide on our plan, the SOL price went from 100$ to 28$.
So this was another challenge facing us which is making this educational NFT project with that small amount of funds into a well-established NFT project. And that's why I decided to start by creating the Private Foxes Discord server. {% hint style="info" %} OG Foxes NFTs are digital collectibles that fall under our [Digital Collectible Terms](https://www.privatefoxes.com/digital-collectible-terms/) and [Terms of Service](https://www.privatefoxes.com/terms-of-service/). {% endhint %} # Private Foxes Server Before we talk about the Private Foxes server, you need to understand that my community and a big part of the Maghreb region have never used Discord before at that time nor have an account there. So the first thing I had to do is to make a unique and secure experience so that my community gets familiar with Discord. I decided to keep the server private for the following reasons: * It suits our brand being **Private Foxes** * To protect the community that is new to Discord from scammers * To protect the community that is new to NFT space from toxic people So to get access to our server, you either need to hold a Private Fox NFT which proves that you were part of the early supporters. Or you need to get the New Fox role through one of the following methods: * Spending a few days playing around with Discord games to earn server coins, which you can use to buy the New Fox role. **This is to help new members get familiar with Discord**. * Walking a few miles to reach Level 4 for our FoxFit bot. We have developed a fitness Discord bot that keeps track of our members' daily steps and the calories burned. **This is to help members who got addicted to Discord to go out and take care of their health**. {% hint style="success" %} Private Foxes is the first NFT project to offer WL spots to the community by walking, jogging, or running using the fitness structure. {% endhint %} Now that you have access to our Private Foxes server, what makes it special? Well, I know for a fact that I am fortunate to have such a supportive community, but I also know that if I want to make our project stand out we need to build an NFT community, not just a regular community, which means we need to spend more time educating our members about NFTs, crypto, blockchain development, etc. So If you take a look at our server, you will notice that we have different categories with different channels. The most notable ones are: * **FoxAcademy**: This category includes channels where members can discuss NFTs, crypto, and anything that helps educate our members. Soon after, the whole discussion moved to FoxVoice since it was easier for members to explain to each other using voice chat and Livestreams. * **FoxVoice**: This category includes different voice chats where members can hang out and learn together, and also the FoxHall where we host important updates. We later introduced FoxConference so top holders can host and manage their own voice rooms to help other members while building their own reputation within the community. * **FoxCareers**: I believe that our community has the most talented members in different fields. So now that they are being taught about Web3, while also networking with other members in FoxVoice, I created this category where the community gets to hire other experienced members so they can build new NFT projects, Web3 tools, or businesses. After all, the whole point of Private Foxes is paving a path for our members and being part of their journey to build a better web3 future. * **FoxAlpha**: I was confident that if we educate our community enough that they started making it in the NFT space, some of them would be willing to give back to the community by sharing their knowledge. And that's why we have created this category where those grateful members share their calls, new information about NFT projects, and whitelist opportunities. Members who benefit from the information shared in FoxAlpha, or from the Private Foxes community in general, share their progress in **💸｜success-stories** channel, so make sure to take a look there for some motivation. * **FoxList**: At that time, first months of building the Private Foxes community, the WL meta was a thing (I don't know by the time you are reading this if it still is), and since we were just a new project with no influencers' endorsement and also private, I know the only way I can help my community to benefit from WL spots is by using my public image and notoriety. So I have chosen some volunteer members for a Fox Manager role so they have permission to reach other NFT projects for WL spots while using my social media for credibility. Those WL spots are given to the community in raffle form. * **FoxRaid**: I remember the way the BAYC community pushed their apes' pictures on Twitter to be the top PFP project in NFT history. So I decided to create this category in an organic way to prepare an active community for Twitter (aka *Fox Raiders*). Again I was confident that when the community sees all that we are doing especially the education part, some would be willing to give back to the community, and this time by simply being active to help spread the word. Encouraging positive gratitude behavior in our structure helped us to create organic and strong raiders, one of the top raiders in the Solana space, which leads Private Foxes to be of the top 50 PFP projects in the world. Those were just some of the notable channels in our server, I can't recall everything, there was so much stuff happening on our server. All I remember is that I tried my best to provide everything to my community during the building phase, just to make sure they stay safe on our server because I was really afraid to expose them to the NFT wild west. For example, when the community needed a real-time NFT project tracker, we made that. When they wanted a real-time floor and volume tracker, we made that. When they needed an RPC NFT mint bot, we also made that. It was challenging to be in charge of a community I care about in a fast-moving market while working on our private roadmap and also preparing for the Private Foxes NFT official launch. {% hint style="info" %} Private Foxes Server falls under our [Terms of Service](https://www.privatefoxes.com/terms-of-service/), [Privacy Policy](https://www.privatefoxes.com/privacy-policy/), and [Discord Terms](https://discordapp.com/terms%20https://discordapp.com/guidelines). {% endhint %} # Private Foxes NFT After spending the first months pivoting my audience from web2 to web3 and building the Private Foxes community. It was time for the foxes to finally have their official launch. After all, we had many new members who were looking to adopt a Private Fox just like the OG holders. Well before we start, you need to know that the Private Foxes community has two mottos: * **We are Foxes & We are Private**: As I have explained in [Private Foxes Server](/private-foxes-server), my goal was to create a private and safe space for my community and educate them enough to be prepared for the NFT world. * **We are the bridge between web3 and Real life**: This is the most important thing. In fact, this is our whole roadmap. It's not as easy as it sounds. I have already onboarded people from the Maghreb region to web3, and I am really proud of that because it was life-changing for many people. But even those few people from the Maghreb region took me about a year of education and creation to get where we are. So I know it will be challenging to onboard the whole world to web3. But hey, we have been facing challenges since the beginning, even the whole Private Foxes project was just a Livestream challenge, so why not. I have been analyzing the Solana space for more than a year, and most projects were just recycling SOL liquidity. I mean projects tend to pay influencers or get featured by other projects so their communities join their mints and the cycle goes on. There was no intention for mainstream adoption, which goes against our second motto. So our official launch had to be so much different and also executed carefully. There was so much stuff that happened during that period of preparation for the launch, so I don't recall everything, feel free to check out the **📢│announcements** channel for more information. But what I will always remember are these decisions I had to make: * **Organic Reach**: I refused to pay any influencer or any project to collab with. Anyone was welcome to join us but it had to be done organically. This was a hard decision, especially during that time and how the Solana space worked. But it had to be that way to avoid that recycling liquidity issue and also to focus our effort on building a loyal community. * **Billboard advertising**: I decided to put up billboards in Turkey and Morocco. ``` https://twitter.com/PrivateFoxes/status/1543918209706999809 https://twitter.com/PrivateFoxes/status/1543928078212235264 ``` {% hint style="success" %} Private Foxes is the first NFT project to be doxxed on [billboards](https://twitter.com/privatefoxes/status/1543975789548507136) in Morocco/Turkey. {% endhint %} This was a huge and necessary step, and it had to be done carefully for legal and cultural reasons. But I made this decision to prove that I am really happy to be the public image for the Private Foxes and I will do whatever it takes to make my community proud. Also, this step was part of onboarding other people to web3 other than the same NFT enthusiasts. Our billboards were unique as well. For example, if you understand Arabic, the billboards were saying: `If you are reading this, we are not asking for anything from you other than remembering us in your prayers so we can become the best NFT project.` ![](/files/mI7Sx85oJxNUgOXBP7pt) This was during Eid al-Adha, the second and the larger of the two main holidays celebrated in the Islamic world, which is also known for the excessive marketing campaigns (lead gen & upselling) for all different products. And there you have our billboards asking for nothing but spreading the word. Well, again the purpose was to onboard people to web3 and the NFT world, not just our own NFT project. So the goal was to make people aware of the existence of the NFT world so they could search about it, maybe they came across another project they would like to join, and that's fine as long as they are learning about the NFT technology. And in case they wanted to join the Private Foxes community, well then it wasn't easy. * **DexLab WL Mint**: I had to make our mint process a bit complicated, you can read our announcements to learn more about it. But it was part of rewarding and educating our OG community. Also, all newcomers joining us need to spend a few days learning about NFTs and trying to understand our unique structure, just then they got the opportunity to mint. I know it was a bit much, but it was part of building a loyal, well-educated community. As I said before, we want to onboard people to web3, we are not looking for people's money, we just want people to learn and enjoy the NFT technology which is so fascinating, it's too sad other NFT projects don't really care about that anymore. * **Mint Duration**: Our mint would last only for 5 days, either selling out or not. We have built this whole structure for the purpose of selecting a strong community, so I had to accept any outcome. * **Mint Party**: To tell you the truth, I was stressed about this whole mint process, I had to take so many decisions and just believe in a positive outcome. But I didn't want my emotions to be projected onto my community. I want our community to always be a safe and calm environment, that's why I kept this whole roadmap process for myself. So to give my community some entertainment during those stressful times, I hired a DJ during the mint so the whole community was having fun while adopting the Private Foxes (I guess it was a first in the Solana space). I wanted my community to have a premium mint experience that they haven't experienced elsewhere.
So our official launch was on July 12, 2022. Newcomers joined our server and adopted some Private Foxes, the OG holders were adding more Foxes to their collection, and the rest of the Private Foxes got reserved. Now that most of the community has its own Private Foxes NFTs, it was time to grant IP rights to the holders. {% hint style="info" %} Private Foxes NFTs are digital collectibles that fall under our [Digital Collectible Terms](https://www.privatefoxes.com/digital-collectible-terms/) and [Terms of Service](https://www.privatefoxes.com/terms-of-service/). {% endhint %} # IP Rights Before we start talking about IP rights, let me remind you that most of the current Private Foxes holders joined the community for one of the following reasons: * As a donation from some of my social media followers, previous students, or clients. * As a Thank-you gesture for the educational Livestream. * To get full access to our community for learning and networking. * To use some of the tools we have already developed for the community. So the community already got what they wanted, why bother with IP rights? I believe that If you keep giving more value to people, It will eventually get back to you in some form. That's the connection I have had with my audience for the past years. I call it the **Gratitude Cycle**. Even when the audience doesn't release the value of what you are doing, you just need to keep doing it. This is a similar situation where most of the community doesn't understand IP rights or why they are important, but I know our Private Foxes brand has already two main factors: * **Credibility**: It took me more than 10 years to build a reputation in the online world. * **Community**: It's taking us some complicated structures to build a loyal, trusted, and well-educated NFT community. So by granting IP rights, It will be much easier and quicker for our NFT holders to build their online presence whenever they are ready**.** Well, the first thing I did was check out projects I hold on both ETH and SOL which claimed to grant us (the holders) the IP rights. I was shocked that none of those projects owns the right to their artwork in the first place to be granted to others. I found that it was just a marketing ploy by anonymous founders to convince people to mint their projects or to hold their NFTs, I was so stunned to find out that even some of the biggest NFT projects did the same. Despite the disappointing realization about those NFT projects, It gave me another reason why I need to continue on this decision of granting IP rights to holders. If I did it right, then other NFT founders and also builders within our community will have a clear path on how to do it correctly. So I spent almost 5 weeks trying to explain NFTs to branding agencies, lawyers and authorities to find a solution to approve my proposal of trademarking the whole collection. I think we were the first NFT project to have such a proposal in Turkey, that's why it took that long. {% hint style="success" %} Private Foxes is the first NFT project to open a [community & utility-based NFT Cafe](https://twitter.com/privatefoxes/status/1557468571395055619) in the whole world. {% endhint %} Yes, we are opening the first NFT cafe in the whole world. This was the biggest and the hardest part of my private roadmap. The Private Foxes community had no idea about this, nor they were expecting anything more than what we have already delivered. But for me, this was part of the **Gratitude Cycle** that I truly believe in, the more value I can bring to my community, the more I may get back one day. The process to find a Cafe that big, buying, renting, and registering the business was really hard that I had to make a one-hour video on my Youtube channel to explain all the difficulties. I was close to giving up on the idea as it all seemed impossible, but I kept remembering why I had to do this: #### Reasons: * **Community**: I remember back in 2019, I had this idea of opening my own co-working space or a coffee shop. I was fortunate to have a good reputation and a great community, so it made sense to have a place where I can meet my audience in real life. But I felt like opening a cafe is kind of a retirement plan, and I need to be much older for such a thing. I kept postponing the idea, and then Covid happened, so I used that as an excuse. But now, I know it is not about me anymore. I know if I took this challenge it will help my community as well. I know this time my public image can be used for the good of the whole community. * **Mainstream**: I never understood how can NFT events that are held once a year and only attended by people who are already within the NFT space, can help onboard new people to web3. If we really want to onboard mainstream users, it needs to be on a daily basis and target the masses. That's why we are opening a cafe that big and in that location. * **Network**: Despite [the advantages](/private-foxes-server) of being a private community, It made us isolated from almost every NFT project, so we were not getting any outside help. That's why I was confident that the right way to attract not only NFT projects but also all kinds of crypto businesses, is by opening our own coffee shop to facilitate mainstream adoption. #### Purposes: * **Branding**: I made sure that the cafe needs to have 4 floors and in that busy area, so it can be our organic ad space. * **Activity**: People from different communities get to meet, work and have fun while also learning more about crypto and NFTs. * **Utility**: First, we have reserved two floors of the cafe for the Private Foxes holders. Second, the cafe will be used as part of the economic model of our $POX token. # POX Token ### 1. Overview “POX Token” (otherwise known as $POX) is strictly a cryptographic utility token to be used within the Private Foxes ecosystem. It serves as the backbone of our project, enabling seamless interaction and engagement among community members. Tokenomics The $POX token has a total supply of 44,445,555.00 tokens. The allocation of tokens is as follows: * **Claiming System**: 60% (26,667,333.00 tokens) - Reserved for the rewards given to Private Fox NFT holders on a fortnightly basis, encouraging long-term engagement with the project. * **Giveaways**: 5% (2,222,277.75 tokens) - Allocated for community giveaways, promotional events, and fostering wider adoption of the Private Foxes ecosystem. * **Team**: 10% (4,444,555.50 tokens) - Reserved for the project team, ensuring their commitment and dedication to the long-term success of Private Foxes. * **Ecosystem**: 25% (11,111,388.75 tokens) - Dedicated to the growth and development of the Private Foxes ecosystem, including partnerships, strategic initiatives, and ecosystem expansion.

I believe it goes against the concept of NFTs. I do understand token staking, and I guess that is where the idea of NFT staking comes from, but tokens are fungible, and NFTs are literally not. Also staking NFTs requires locking up the NFTs in a smart contract which has huge risks. Unfortunately, not many people talk about this, but if you do a quick search you will find that many projects got their staking contracts lost or attacked and the whole community lost their NFTs. I think most NFT projects launched their NFT staking system because everyone else was doing it. It's also cheaper and easier since there are many open-source codes available for staking NFTs. And I guess It was their only way to bribe holders not to sell. ### **NFT Claiming:** Introducing the NFT Claiming system where you get rewarded while keeping your NFTs. Well, I have built my community around the **Gratitude Cycle** where I provide and reward my community as much as I can, and I let the cycle does it work. I believe using this claiming system will be much safer since every holder will be keeping his own NFT, which he can use any way he wants, while also rewarding the ones who believe in and support our project. # POX Airdrop Our Private Foxes NFTs were minted months ago. I have explained previously the whole story about us and how our whole community was just being supportive and was never looking for anything more. But again, as a part of the **Gratitude Cycle**, I would like to reward our NFT holders who kept their Private Foxes NFTs by airdropping $POX tokens before starting the claiming process. **How does the airdrop work?** Our claiming system has been calculating the fortnights passed for each Private Fox NFT since their mint date. So If you own a Private Fox NFT, we will use its mint date and its tier to calculate how much $POX you will get airdropped.
